Been a wile since I've posted anything here. Mainly cuz i haven't been sure how i want to use this service. And b/c I've been busy, and lazy. Anyway I'll probably be using this to post photos that i have recently finished. And maybe other stuff I'm working on for those who might be interested.
So heres a new photo!!! :-)
CS3... Awesome!!!
This is taken atop Merrick Mountain. The Park was not too long ago a garbage dump. But when the town started using re-fule (cleanly burning trash facility) they converted the dump into a park. Everything at the park is environmentally powered If you look closely you can see the solar panel on the mill.
Good thing i don't live down wind of this place :)
Who's your favorite movie villain?
JAWS! what villain is Greater and ultimately more tragic then the GIANT GRAET WHITE SHARK of jaws... sadly many haven't seen this movie since they where kids.. See it again! This is one of those movies you can watch over and over and it's always as good as the 1st time. I watch it every summer :) One of the truly GREAT films.
By the way i've had many debates on the subject of whether this is really a horror movie or not. What are your opinions on this?
Farewell and adieu to you, fair Spanish ladies....
What movie would you really recommend renting or seeing this weekend?
I'm a fan of the classics. My thinking is why see something new, that will likely be trash, when you have nearly 100 years of great films. I say, see something you always heard was a great movie but never took the time to rent.
Today was to be the Scottish Festival, but it was canceled on account of rain. Only trouble is that it didn't rain.
Instead we went to the "Cradle of Aviation" near Nassau Community College here on Long Island. It's only about 5 min from where i live but I'd never been there. I have to say, i was impressed, i was expecting a few run down plans in an old hanger. This was a hard core museum.
I Took lots of photos. The complex low lighting made it difficult to shoot without a flash. I posted a few here Cradle of Aviation Photos. If you live on long island it definitely worth taking a few hours and checking out. Cost about $9 per person. Witch is about the cost of a movie these days. Well worth it on a rainy cloudy day.
I was so excited when i got my invite to VOX. I'm not a big blogger, but i liked the idea of a central life online place. Thats not myspace. I don't know anyone else on here yet and i kinda like the idea of being an early adopter. The interface here is really well built, some how it actually makes me won't to try posting.
As you might get from my profile image, i'm kinda into photography. I post my work to my web gallery here Electric Iris. Check it out and please add comments, i don't have any yet :-( ...I wonder if that emoticon will turn to a graphic when i post?
Anyway, looking forward to meeting new people here on VOX
